What does Curblee check before I park?

Curblee looks up the rules on file for the curb you're on — meters, residential permit zones, rush-hour restrictions, street sweeping, no-parking and no-standing zones, loading zones — and shows you the posted regime and when it changes. When the data is thin or conflicting, it says so and asks you to check the sign.

How does Curblee know the curb rules on my block?

From DDOT's public sign and meter data, cross-checked with photos of the actual signs taken by Curblee drivers and surveyors. Blocks we haven't verified with a photo are marked "not yet verified." Rules can change before our data does — always read the sign.

What are ticket-risk alerts?

Ticket-risk alerts warn you when a rule on your block is about to flip — for example, a rush-hour lane becoming active, a street-sweeping window opening, or a meter that becomes paid. The goal is to move your car before the ticket, not after.

What enforcement notifications will Curblee send?

Two kinds. Reminders you opt into: a heads-up before a rule on your block flips (street sweeping, rush hour, permit time limits, snow emergency routes, stadium event days). And live reports from nearby Curblee drivers who've spotted ticketing or towing on the block — alerts expire on their own, so you only hear about it while it's happening.

Is Curblee a parking payment app?

No. Curblee does not handle payment. It tells you whether you're allowed to park somewhere and when you need to move, before you feed the meter or walk away from the curb.
